I'm Shreya

I am a research scholar in Computational Biology and Translational Bioinformatics Lab at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, with experience in Telemedicine System Design, Applied research, Artificial Intelligence, Basic Bioinformatics, and App development. My background includes a technical degree in Biotechnology in Bachelor’s and Master. I have internships/projects in Bioinformatics and three years of research experience in Deep Learning with Python and Mobile App development to make a mindful but competitive approach. I was always passionate about being an interdisciplinary person. I consider myself to be a ‘forever student.’ I am eager to build my academic foundations in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics and stay in tune with the latest Artificial Intelligence through continued research work and professional development. The hunger of knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed the most recent success at my lab. Here, I have developed the Mobile App named “Dhadkan Version2” in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi which was recognized nationally as well as internationally (Digital Commonwealth Health Awards). Meanwhile, I’m polishing my computational skills in my research. Consequently, I have even cracked Google Summer of Code 2020, due to which I have learned a higher level of web development skills. I believe that mindfulness in the workplace is key to success. Besides this, my interest also lies in writing poetry and blogs, dance and music.
